Finding the time to spend with God when your life is nonstop

I don't know about you all, but currently my life is running non stop! The last semester of college classes in your senior year before student teaching is insane. There are plenty of nights where either stay up till 3am and wake up again at 6:30 to get the day started or I will wake up at 3:30 in the morning to do homework.

An 8-10 page research paper here, a practice teaching project (planning lessons and recording yourself teach) there. As well as the easier normal homework assignments the professors assign. Whether or not you are in college, you understand what I mean when I say life does not stop long enough to give you a break.

In all this busy time, where do you find time alone to spend with God? In the morning? At night? In your car driving to work or school? Never? For me I aim to do it in the morning when I wake up, though if I am honest I sometimes don't even do it then. I love the times where I drive because I listen to the KLOVE music station in my car and listen to worship songs that God sometimes uses to speak to me at the exact time I need to hear something! Sunday and Wednesday are really the only times I have designated for church but honestly I am so hungry to learn more about God that that is not enough time.

I love using my YouVersion Bible App because they have devotionals you can choose based on what you are going through and need help with. The app also has a streak feature that tells you how many days in a row you have used the app and it emails you when you have not logged in so that you can go and do your daily devotions before you forget. I once heard somewhere that it takes 21 days to make a habit so if you where do get on this app for 21 days you would be on your way to forming a habit of spending time with God.

I spend time with God with worship in the car and in the morning or evening but that is not as much time as I want. What ways do you use to make sure you spend time daily in the bible? If you don't have a daily schedule try using YouVersion and if you do, comment down below to give those of us who don't ideas to make it a priority in front of school work and daily life. Lets face it, we can not do anything without being with God.
